CultureHISTORY: #Ferguson Protests - Magazine covers

Amazing images. The TIME & Bloomberg Businessweek cover photos were both taken by Scott Olson (Getty Images) who was arrested by the St. Louis PD during the protests and later released. The New Yorker painting was done by New York artist Eric Drooker.

it started with me wondering which teeth troll and orc tusks were (according to the new models, both have elongated premolars! weird). I traced these onto screencaps and please please note that anything beyond the neck is extra haphazard, as i’m not terribly experienced drawing skeletal systems!!
i used humans, baboons, chimpanzees, gorillas, australopithecus, wathogs, cows, american bison, hippopotamuses, hyenas, and wolves as reference for this.

UM AWESOME

  • little brother:

  • me:

for some reason tampons are gross and taboo just cuz they go in a vagina

  • little brother:

well so does a penis and boys never stop talking about those
